Chinese New Year 2020

“Gong hei fat choy!”

This week we have been celebrating the Chinese New Year of the Rat.
The children have used chopsticks to eat their snack, especially enjoying the noodles, prawn crackers and home made sweet and sour sauce from Debbie. We have danced and moved like a Chinese dragon. The children have listened to ‘The Great Race’, the story of how there came to be twelve years named after each animals, in the order they won the race.

First week of 2020
