FOREST SCHOOL

Puddleducks is developing a forest school area and with Maria Milburn as the lead we are starting to introduce forest school sessions. Over recent weeks, small groups of children have been enjoying Forest school activities. The children have been exploring the local environment and have enjoyed games of '1,2,3, where are you' a game of hide and seek where the children have to use their listening skills as well as looking for their friends.

The children made a tent under the ground sheet and enjoyed playing in the mud kitchen, making grass soup and mud cakes.

The children have been on a nature trail, looking for natural resources and insects. The children have used pebbles for counting activities and natural resources to make pictures. They've also planted seeds, ready to transfer to the eco garden along with peas, french beans and sweet peas.  Little green fingers in the making!
