Puddleducks is planning a trip to Norwich Playhouse for all pre-school children. We have booked tickets to see the production of The First Hippo On the Moon by David Walliams.

The trip will take place on the afternoon on Monday 20th March 2017. We will travel to the Playhouse by coach, leaving Puddleducks at approximately midday. The cost of the trip is being heavily subsidised by Puddleducks and we would therefore ask for a small contribution towards the cost of the coach of £4 per child.

Due to the coach size and the number of pre-school children, we will not be able to take all parents/carers; we will however have a few spaces for volunteers to accompany us. If you are able to offer to accompany us on this trip, please indicate on the permission slip. If you offer to volunteer and it is confirmed that you are joining us, then we would ask for a small voluntary contribution towards your ticket and coach travel of £4.

A full risk assessment will be carried out prior to us going on the trip and we will maintain a ratio of one adult to two children at all times.

For the trip, there are a number of options. Please read carefully!

1) Children already attending a full day session will need to bring their lunch as normal.

2) Children attending a morning-only session can bring their lunch and stay for the trip.

3) Children that attend the afternoon-only session will need to arrive by 11.50am having had their lunch.

4) Children that do not normally attend on a Monday will need to arrive at 11.50am having had their lunch.

The performance will last 60 minutes. We will then travel back to Puddleducks, arriving at approximately 2.30pm, reading for you to collect your child/children.

Please return the attached slip by Friday 24th February, so that we can confirm numbers with the Playhouse. Please note there will not be an afternoon session running due to all staff being in ratio for the trip.

Kind regards,

Sarah and Puddleducks staff

A great time was had by all at the end of term Christmas party. James D kept us all entertained with party games and dancing; and each child received a small Christmas gift.

We wish all our Puddleducks children and parents a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. See you in 2017!

The new term starts on Thursday, January 5th.

The end of term Christmas party has been booked. This year we will be entertained by James D.

The party will take place on Friday, 16th December.

We would like to invite all children that attend Puddleducks to the party. Due to the number of children on the Puddleducks register, we cannot accommodate younger siblings for the party.

We would ask that all children are left at the party and that parents and younger siblings return at 11.30am. We will maintain staff to child ratios during the entertainment.

Children will need to arrive at Puddleducks for 9.15am, ready for James D to start at 9.30am.

We will be having party food and drink, which we will provide.

Parents and siblings return at 11.30am for the raffle.

This year we will not be having Father Christmas attend the party, but there may be some Elves!

Please note, there will be no afternoon session on this Friday.

Please could you complete the reply slip on your letter and return it to Puddleducks by Monday, 12th December.
