At Puddleducks we operate a key person system to enable our children to build a strong and secure relationship that helps to grow their sense of self confidence, security and resilience. Each member of staff has a group of children for whom they are particularly responsible.

Your child's key person will be the person who works with you to ensure that Puddleducks provides for your child's needs and interests. We would encourage you to speak with your child's key person and to share information, working together to build a strong foundation for your child's learning and development.

The key person will help your child settle into Puddleducks and will be available for you to discuss any queries you may have. This member of staff will be responsible for keeping your child's records, including their Learning Story and for observations and planning activities that encourage your child's learning and development. All staff will carry out assessments as required.
